In order to explore specialized opportunities for students in the electrical vehicles (EV), Community College of Skill Development (CCSD) and Alumni & Corporate Affairs (A&CA) Cell under J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad today signed an MoU with Shigan Evoltz Limited, a leading manufacturer of Electric Vehicle’s located in Manesar (Gurugram). The agreement would focus on providing industry-ready workforce in the area of EVs and supporting innovative ideas of B.Tech students in the area of EVs.

The Principal, CCSD and Director Alumni & Corporate Affairs, Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, and Managing Director, Shigan Evoltz Limited Gagan Agarwal signed the MoU in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar and Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg. Dean Placement, Alumni and Corporate Affairs (PCA) Prof. Vikram Singh and Assistant Director (A& CA) Dr. Sapna Taneja and member (A&CA) Sh. Nitin Goel were also present on this occasion.

Expressing pleasure over the tie-up Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that all the new-age vehicles are more technologically advanced, connected and smart which is an entirely new set of skills and knowledge to drive the industry growth and its complete value-chain. Through this collaboration with Shigan Evoltz, the University would help in addressing the need of the technical manpower for industry to have skilled people, he added.

Prof. Vikram Singh said that the aim of the agreement is to provide offer on job training, internship and placement facilities to students. The company would also conduct seminar, training and workshop to enhance the employability of students and bridging the skill gap of students and faculty members, besides, providing consultancy projects for them.
